When Melissa first contacted me about live painting at her October wedding in Nashville, I knew we were going to be instant friends! The mood board she sent me was nothing short of perfection and somewhere in between the soft seating, pastel colors, jaw dropping florals, and 6 or 7 chandeliers, I found myself wishing I could go back and redo my wedding! Seriously y’all, we arrived at our hotel to the sweetest welcome gift ever and I knew that no detail was going to be overlooked.
Words can hardly describe how beautiful her Nashville wedding was! It was the perfect October day with clear blue skies, a gentle breeze, and all of heaven celebrating the marriage of the Woodruffs right along with us!
Michael and I arrived at the Cheekwood Mansion a little bit early to set up. When we turned the corner to enter the reception tent, both of us gasped. IT. WAS. STUNNING.
So naturally, I had to snap a million photos before getting settled in to paint!
Literally the only thing that kept running through my head was HOW AM I GOING TO CAPTURE ALL OF THESE GORGEOUS DETAILS?!?

Every wedding needs to have a flower chandelier above a sunken in dance floor. Period.

The evening was absolutely perfect and the gorgeous decor doesn’t even compare to how beautiful Melissa looked! She was timeless and elegant and it was a clear that Banks knew he was the luckiest man in the world.
I’m just so thankful to have been a part of such a special celebration! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff!
